If you have a lot of scheduled events, you’ll love the events calendar display in Youko. Use it to promote belt ceremonies and other events held at your dojo.
3. Samurai by Axiom Themes (Themeforest)
Samurai is a professionally designed WordPress theme for wrestling, boxing, taekwondo, kung fu, and mixed martial arts organizations. It has a high-contrast design that looks great on all devices.
Like many themes, Samurai is powered by a page builder. You can browse the homepage to get a feel for all of the various content sections available in this theme. It also has many shortcodes which you can preview in the demo as well. The shortcodes allow you to add beautiful dynamic page elements like charts, countdowns, and pricing tables that are custom designed to match the theme.
The developers at Axiom themes were careful to make this theme work well for the target audience. In addition to the pricing tables and call-to-action sections, Samurai also full calendar tool. You can add a calendar-like display with the schedule showing exactly when each of your classes are and visitors can click any class to learn more about it. The schedule can be a great tool for getting more visitors to signup for their first class.
4. Fight House by TemplateMonster
Fight House is a simple and clean WordPress theme for karate and martial arts websites. Use it for a dojo, gym, or any other type of martial arts organization.

Fight House was built with a “mobile first” design philosophy which has lead to an excellent style on smartphones and tablets. It’s also compatible with the Ecwid eCommerce solution for selling products on your site. If you don’t have a lot of high-quality photos of your establishment, this can help you get started without paying for an expensive photographer.
5. Gym & Fit by Vamtam (Themeforest)
Gym & Fit wasn’t designed exactly for karate schools but it is made to work well for all sorts of fitness centers and athletic organizations. If you check out a few of the demo sites, you’ll see just how adaptable this theme is. You could easily create a gym website with it or a site for a karate school.
The screenshot above showcases a dark background style, but you can just as easily use a light background with Gym & Fit. This theme doesn’t share the minimalist aesthetic that a lot of other themes too. Instead, it opts for smaller fonts and fitting more elements on screen at once. This may or may not appeal to your design sense, so check it out for yourself and see what you think!
Gym & Fit includes all of the most important features you’ll need: eCommerce, event calendars, and class schedules. Much of this functionality is thanks to its integration with other plugins rather than the features being coded into the theme itself. Overall, Gym & Fit is a nice looking theme and is extremely adaptable and customizable.
