How to Customize the Header

Challenger comes with a customizable header section where you can include a call-to-action and button.

The first step is to enable it on every page you want it to display on.

  1. Visit the Customizer (Appearance → Customize)
  2. Click on the "Header" section.
  3. By default, the display option will be on.
  4. Next, check off any page type where you want the header to display.

You can then change the text of the title and the button, and modify their colors.

You can swap out the default background image with any image you want. If you don't want a background image, drag the opacity slider all the way to the right to create a solid color background.

There's also an alternate logo option. If you have a dark logo that looks good on the white background, it might not look great against a the background color of the header. In this case, you can add a different version of your logo that matches better. This alternate logo will only be used on pages with the lead generation header.
