How to Edit the Post Byline
By default, Shift displays a byline under each post title with the author who wrote it, the date it was published, and the number of comments.
You can remove the date, author, or remove the byline entirely. To remove an element from the byline:
- Visit the Customizer (Appearance → Customize)
- Click on the Display Controls section
- Hide the elements you want removed
- Click the Save & Publish button to save your changes
The byline has now been updated across the site.
