How to Change the Featured Image Size

With Apex Pro, you can change the aspect ratio of your Featured Images to any of the following twelve ratios:

  • 2:1
  • 1:2
  • 16:9
  • 9:16
  • 3:2
  • 2:3
  • 4:3
  • 3:4
  • 5:4
  • 4:5
  • 1:1
  • Natural Dimensions

How to Change the Size of All Featured Images

To change the size of all Featured Images on your site:

  1. Visit the Customizer (Appearance → Customize)
  2. Click on the Featured Image Size section
  3. Use the dropdown menu to select a new aspect ratio
  4. Click the Save & Publish button to save your changes

Your Featured Images will now use the new aspect ratio chosen.

How to Change the Size of One Featured Image

Every Post/Page can have its own Featured Image aspect ratio that will override the size set in the Customizer. To set a different aspect ratio for a Post:

  1. Visit the Posts menu
  2. Locate and click on the Post you want to edit
  3. Scroll down the page until you see the Featured Image Size box on the right side of the screen
  4. Use the dropdown menu to select a new aspect ratio
  5. Scroll up the page and click the Update button to save your Featured Image

Your Featured Image will now use the new aspect ratio chosen.
