Common Issues

If you don't find a solution here, please contact us through the Priority Support page.

I get an error message when I upload Apex Pro

If you received the following message, this is due to uploading Apex Pro through the Themes menu:

"The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet."

Apex Pro should be uploaded through the Plugins menu as described in the steps above.

As a plugin, you don't have to worry about any of the issues that come with switching themes. All of the features will be added automatically without disrupting your site.

I don't have a "zipped" version of Apex Pro

Some browsers, Safari in particular, will automatically unzip the "apex-pro.zip" file and leave you with an "apex-pro" folder.

To rezip, right-click the "apex-pro" folder and click the "Compress apex-pro" option. This will create a new apex-pro.zip file you can upload.

I never received a copy of Apex Pro

Please check your spam folder for an email titled, "Apex Pro Download & Instructions". There will be a download link at the beginning of that email.

If the email is not present in your inbox or spam folder, please contact us through the Priority Support page.
