    Woffice intranet theme

    Theme Description

Woffice is a full-featured theme for organizing an active intranet community site. Use it to update employees with internal events, coordinate projects, and provide an employee directory with contact info for each member.

The theme itself is quite attractive and modern. It makes tasteful use of color and whitespace to create a clutter-free design despite the large variety of content on its pages. Members will find it easy to browse the intranet and publish their own content with the awesome Woffice theme.

On top of the excellent design, Woffice includes loads of powerful features. One of the coolest features is Slack integration. Members can be notified in specific Slack channels about new projects, new users, tasks, and more. The dashboard employees see when they login to the intranet portal is fully customizable and built with widgets. Between WordPress’s default widgets, widgets added by Woffice, and the thousands of additional free widgets available on wordpress.org, this makes the dashboard highly customizable.

Altogether, Woffice is an amazing premium theme with great design and a comprehensive feature set for a company intranet website.

  • 7. BuddyApp by Seventh Queen (Themeforest)

  • 8. Alliance by ThemeREX (Themeforest)

    Alliance

    View theme now Get hosting

    Theme Description

Alliance is the cleanest and IMO the most attractive of the intranet themes here, but it isn’t without its flaws.

While Alliance is beautiful and as full-featured as the other themes listed here, it is at times harder to use. The drop-down menu design in the sidebar, in particular, is tedious to navigate, so I would recommend sticking to a single-tier menu there. Some of the widgets in the demo are somewhat pointless, so the widgets you choose may not look as nice.

Besides these small flaws, it’s a solid theme. The calendar and events look great, and Alliance would work wonderfully for an intranet based on event registration and attendance. The community features come from an integration with BuddyPress, and it even has its own feature for creating training courses. One of the cooler features in this theme is the survey tool that lets you collect opinions from employees and display the results for all private site members to review.

Alliance is a mixed bag, but it’s a nice theme overall. It would serve well as an employee portal with an emphasis on events and training programs.

Which intranet themes is best for you?

In my opinion, Woffice is the best all-around intranet theme. It has a crazy amount of features and a design that fits the niche very well.

BuddyBoss should be your top choice if you want a state-of-the-art community site with more emphasis on social features than document sharing.
