WordPress themes for service businesses
We’ve only selected themes that are totally modern and up-to-date. That means they look great on desktop and mobile devices, and they also work great with the latest version of WordPress. Here are my top picks for best service business WordPress themes for 2021.
1. Business Lounge by RT Themes (Themeforest)
Business Lounge is crisp and exceptionally professional. You can tell it’s a recently released theme due to its modern aesthetic and affinity for current design trends. Use it for a law firm, financial institution, or insurance company with ease.
Most themes are compatible with one page-builder, but Business Lounge can work with both Elementor and Visual Composer (which is free if you purchase Business Lounge). If you browse one of the demo sites, you can see that this premium theme does a great job of creating sections that don’t feel blocky and isolated from one another. Each page component flows seamlessly into the next.
While the colors are customizable, the red in the demo site goes in stark contrast to the calm blue shades you typically find in business sites. Besides custom colors, you can also add background images, change the fonts, and completely customize the sliders. There are many features to dig into here, so you’ll need to check out the page on Business Lounge to see everything it’s capable of.
2. DynamiX by ACODA (Themeforest)
Dynamix is an incredibly customizable theme that can adapt to any niche. The screenshot above features a design that would work well for many service businesses, but don’t take it as the only example. Dynamix has nine awesome demo sites showcasing its many styles.
For a corporate website, you’ll appreciate the clean aesthetic of this business theme. It captures a professional feel without appearing stiff or plain. Dynamix has designs that can be used for creative agencies and photography websites too, and some of those more media-rich aesthetics carry over into each design.
DynamiX has numerous pre-made templates to choose from. The pre-designed templates let you set up your site fast with minimal work. It’s also compatible with the Visual Composer plugin if you want complete control over the layouts. This service business WP theme has support for WooCommerce to add an eCommerce store to your site and bbPress for adding forums.
3. Ituza by Insignia Technolabs (Themeforest)
Ituza is a multi-concept WordPress theme for service businesses. It’s designed for all service businesses, including catering, construction, fitness, tech support, and many more niche services.
The screenshot you see above is from the construction demo site, so use it only as a rough example of what this responsive template can do. As you can see from this screengrab, there is a signup form featured at the top. This is one of the features that make Ituza great for all manner of services businesses. It comes with an appointment booking plugin so your clients can schedule visits on your website without needing to call or email.
The Ituza theme also includes a page builder plugin and more than 200+ template blocks. Use the blocks to make entirely custom pages with interesting visual elements like sliders, testimonial galleries, and contact forms.
4. Success by Commerce Gurus (Themeforest)
If you run a consulting business or marketing agency, the Success theme will be a natural fit. It’s nice that so many themes listed here are highly customizable, but that freedom comes with a cost: you have to spend a while customizing your website. The Success might look great for your company when you install it saving you loads of time working on your website.
With all of that said, Success is still highly customizable thanks to its integration with the WP Bakery page builder. You may appreciate that the style looks appropriate out of the box, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make dramatic changes to the layout and design of this WordPress theme.
The Success theme also includes LayerSlider, which is a plugin for making responsive sliders. All elements in the Success theme, from the header and footer to the page building blocks, all use responsive design. Regardless of how you customize your website, it will adapt fluidly to small and large screen sizes.
5. ConsultPress by ProteusThemes
ConsultPress has a unique design that will grab your visitors’ attention. As the name implies, this theme was made for consulting firms, but it can accommodate any professional service providing businesses.
This business theme does a good job of highlighting offers and call-to-actions. The slider featured in the demo includes a CTA button in each slide, and there is an additional button above the menu on the right side of the page. Your phone number and email address can also be kept prominent at the top of the site to encourage prospects to reach out and get in touch.
One area where this theme shines is its mobile design. All of the themes here adapt to smaller screen sizes, but ConsultPress has a wonderful and thoughtfully designed mobile presentation. Regarding layout customization, it comes with more than 20 custom widgets, which you can use with the free SiteOrigin page builder plugin (in addition to WP’s 17 default widgets).
6. Ascendio by TemplateMonster
If you’re looking for a customizable and business-oriented theme, Ascendio will be an excellent choice for your website. It has a simple color palette and spacious style that makes it easy to navigate and get your message across.
The Ascendio theme has quite a few demos available, which show off its flexibility. It’s made to work with the free Elementor page builder plugin to allow for custom template building. It also includes a handful of different header and footer layouts, which can go a long way towards changing your site’s feel.
Ascendio’s simple aesthetic makes it capable of serving a wide array of niches. You could use it for marketing, finance, catering, fitness, or nutrition service business, amongst many other options. It’s also Ecwid compatible, allowing you to add an eCommerce store and accept payments on your site.
7. GrowthPress by ProteusThemes
GrowthPress is an awesome theme for any service provider. It’s especially well adapted to marketing agencies and consultancies. The vibrant colors and precise typography make this theme feel alive and create a premium feel visitors will appreciate.
One neat feature in this small business theme is the landing page option. You can use it as a standalone sales page and/or a theme for a complete website. This can be especially handy if you’re running PPC campaigns since you’ll have a built-in landing page tool that matches the rest of your site.
GrowthPress comes with plenty of beautifully designed components to make your site truly effective at landing new clients. You can use customizable pricing tables to compare different service packages, email optin forms, and numerous places to highlight your contact details. This theme was made with real businesses in mind, which shows throughout the smart design decisions ProteusThemes has made.
